The Warwickshire Campaign Group, of which I am a member, was told in March that they had won the Alzheimer's Society Peoples Award for the group in the Outstanding Contribution category, and that I had won the individual award in the same category.

This was mainly for the work we had done over 2012/13 on a pilot project for Alzheimer’s Society aimed at improving diagnosis rates in Warwickshire.

On  April 23rd, we went to the awards ceremony at St James's Palace, London.  The awards were given to 18 winners comprising both staff and volunteers in different categories, and presented by HRH Princess Alexandra who is Royal Patron of the Society.
